I’m a fan of Oprah Winfrey, I admire her a lot. Well, who would not look up to her? She’s making a difference, she’s an inspiration to the less fortunate people. Through her talk show, she is touching so many lives. But haven’t you wondered how high her credit score is? Does she mind her credit?

With so many people struggling a good credit score is more important than ever. We are doing everything to have an improve credit score. Some people even freeze their credit to protect their identity and to avoid identity theft. I have just gotten my first job and my father has always told me not to use credit cads. But I like to have the extra credit available. So I open a credit card that offers a 0 percent interest rate for a certain period of time, us the card and pay off as much as I can before the 0 percent time is up. Then if I have a balance, I apply it to another card that gives the same kind of offer and close the old card. First I thought it was a good idea, little did I know that opening a credit check lowers my credit score in short the term. Second, the fact that I’m not paying off the balance means that as I go from card to card, I may be accumulating more and more debt. Finally, closing accounts also hurts my credit score because it shrinks the amount of totally free credit report available to me and makes my debt ratio look bigger to my overall credit picture. So now I’m starting to work my butts up to improve my credit, I very careful in making decision especially money matters. And from time to time I am getting a free credit report online.
